Everyday, we face a gazillion choices about what to eat. Local, organic, fair trade, conventional. The choices are seemingly infinite and can be overwhelming. However, as Michael Pollan said, “you get three votes a day when you’re eating, and several votes within each meal, and you get as many right as you can, and that makes a real difference.”

So with that in mind, I’m taking this opportunity to endorse the company I work for: the Rainforest Alliance. This week, we’re educating consumers about the importance of making even one responsible choice per day.
